From 5 to 9 January 2028, Panama City will host the first edition of the Panama Youth Cup, a new international youth football tournament bringing together clubs from America, Europe and the rest of the world.

The Panama Youth Cup is an international youth football tournament created for boys’ and girls’ teams who want to compete in a professional, multicultural and exciting environment.
The tournament is open to teams from all over the world, including professional academies, grassroots clubs, school teams and independent football academies.
5 January 2028 — Opening Ceremony & Parade
Official opening of the Panama Youth Cup with a welcome ceremony and a team parade along the promenade, creating a special international atmosphere for players, coaches and families.
6 January 2028 — Team Arrivals
First full day of competition, with group stage matches across all categories. Teams will begin their journey in the tournament and compete against international opponents.
7 January 2028 — Group Stage Matches
Second full day of competition, with group stage matches across all categories. Teams will begin their journey in the tournament and compete against international opponents.
8 January 2028 — Group Stage & Knockout Matches
Continuation of the group stage and start of the final rounds, depending on the competition format and the number of teams in each category.
9 January 2028 — Finals at the Panama Stadium
Finals day at the Panama Stadium, where the best teams in each category will compete for the title. The tournament will close with the awards ceremony and final celebration.
